The Animal Production Act and The Animal Production Regulations apply to all municipalities (rural, urban and northern). This legislation applies to livestock such as cattle, horses and bison and other farmed animals as specified in the regulations; it does not apply to animals such as cats and dogs. Please ensure your animals are kept on your property and properly cared for. The Administrator is appointed to handle strays.
The Dog Control Bylaw prohibits dogs running at large.
